Crimp surfaces are created with a constant gap distance on a support surface. The curve selected as guide defines the gap course.

The crimp or fillet flange surfaces are created on both sides of the guide and lie on the support surface. The goal of the function is to reduce the time for the creation of gap geometry.

The following methods are available for the different application areas:

  • Flange - Flange (e. g. pane rabbet)
  • Crimp - Flange (e. g. door gap)
  • Crimp - Crimp (e. g. headlight outline)
  • Zero Gap (e. g. transition to plastic material parts)
