Creating Loft Surfaces

You can create a lofted surface through multiple profiles in both U and V direction.

Before you begin:
  • You must have access to the ICEM Shape Morphing or the ICEM Shape Design for Aero app.
  • Open a 3D shape containing a set of guide and profile curves.

  1. From the Surface section of the action bar, click Loft .
  2. Select elements as Guides.
  3. Select elements as Profiles.
  4. In the Tolerance Intersection box, specify a value.
  5. Click OK.
