Exploring an Interference Simulation

The interference simulation tree displays three categories of objects:

Model

The model is the product on which the interference simulation was created. The model can be the entire product, assembly, or groups of assemblies.

Scenario

The scenario consists of criteria defined to create the simulation, for example, interference types such as clash, contact, clearance, and clearance value.

The scenario cannot be modified in Interference Finder.

Result

Result contains interferences that are identified in the simulation.

You must execute the simulation to view the list of interferences. Results are displayed in a list of 15 interferences.

You can filter interferences by interference name or analysis status.
