-
From the Structure Insulation section of the action bar, click Split Insulation .
-
In the
Insulations box, select insulations (structure panel insulation and structure profile insulation) to split.
-
In the Cutting elements box, select cutting elements.
You can select a structure plate, a plane, a surface, or an output profile as a cutting element.
Notes:
- You can select multiple cutting elements.
- The selected cutting element must fully intersect the insulation.
- The cutting element must not intersect the insulation multiple times. In other words, the selected cutting element should not split the insulation in more than two parts.
- You can select an output profile created at a different elevation from the insulation. The profile is projected on the insulation, in normal direction to the plane on which it is created.
-
Click OK.
- If the active context is a 3D shape representation, the new insulation features are created under it.
- If the active context is a physical product, the new insulation features are created under the representation of the parent insulation.
- If multiple insulation features from different insulation 3D parts are split, the new insulation features are created under the respective insulation representations.
