Primary Area

The primary area of the Result section provides commands for running kinematics simulations, and reviewing kinematics simulation results. Running kinematics simulations involves previewing the simulation, performing clash analysis during animation, displaying an history of the interference probes at each time step of the simulation, reviewing scenario results, and creating snapshots. You can also export probe results and animations, create traces and swept volumes: two-dimensional and three-dimensional geometries based on an animation of a mechanism.

Play Animation
Plays an animation generated from a scenario.
See Animating a Simulation
View Scenario Results
Shows curves and values of scenario results and exports them to an Excel file.
See About Reviewing Scenario Results
Interference Analysis
Shows the interferences that occurred during the simulation.
See About the Interference Probes History
Geometric Trace
Creates the 3D representation of the path traveled by a selected point, line or curve during a kinematics simulation.
See Creating Traces
Swept Volume
Creates a continuous 3D volume of the path followed by an element during the simulation.
See Creating Swept Volumes
Snapshot
Creates snapshots of a scenario result.
See Creating Snapshots
Export Animation
Exports the animation of a scenario's result inside the simulation context root product.
