App Options Panel

The App Options panel provides options for you to set up the nominal position of a mechanism, and to detect clashes and contacts during the preview or during the animation of a kinematics simulation.

To access the App Options panel, from the Tools section of the action bar, select App Options .

Transient/nominal Mode
Allows you to specify that the configuration of the mechanism at the end of the simulation should be saved as the permanent configuration of the model.

Allows you to detect clashes and contacts during preview.
