Updating a Scenario

Updating a scenario ensures that the most recent changes and versions of your kinematics scenario—and all of its associated specifications—are accounted for in the simulation.

Before you begin: Open a kinematics simulation referencing a mechanism in the Mechanical Systems Experience app. app.

  1. In the tree, select the scenarios you want to update. If no scenario is selected, the current scenario is selected by default and is updated.
  2. From the standard area, click Update Scenario .
    Both the Computation Status dialog box and the Update progress bar appear. The selected scenarios and associated specifications are updated.
