What's New

This section describes recent changes in Device Master Record Management.

R2022x GA

Opening a DMR Baseline
By default, you can now view the Properties page of a DMR instead of the DMR Structure page when you open a DMR baseline.
Refreshing a DMR Baseline
You can now refresh a DMR baseline from the List page of a DMR baseline using the Refresh DMR Baseline option. The refresh of a DMR baseline is based on the progress of a background job and when you refresh it from the List page, the notification is displayed about the refresh process. The icon for Status is displayed before the name of a DMR baseline in the List page. Also the icon for Status is displayed before the name of a DMR baseline in the Approvals tab of a DMR baseline. For more information, see Baseline Approvals.
Status Icon in the Properties Page
The Status icon is displayed with the details before the name of the baseline approval according to the background job. For more information, see Baseline Approval Properties.
Promoting a DMR Baseline
When you promote a DMR baseline from the In Work to the In Approval state, the icon for check-in status is displayed before the name of a DMR baseline according to the status of background job.

The background job is used now to improve the performance, which prepares and check-in XML from the backend.

The icon for check-in status is displayed if the background job is either the running or failed. When the background job is completed, the icon and email notifications are sent and the status icon is not displayed for it.

You cannot promote or demote the selected DMR baseline if the background job is in the progress.

Tasks for DMR Baseline
You cannot complete the selected task for the context DMR baseline if the background job is in progress for the same DMR baseline. When the task is approved or completed, the background job is created to update the DMR content. If you select the tasks to mark as completed, the single background job is created for all the selected tasks and also the single notification is sent to the approver of all the selected tasks when the background job is completed.
