Closing a Complaint

After complaint investigation is completed and all objects related to the complaint are in final state, you can close the complaint. When you close a complaint, its state is set to Closed. After you close a complaint, you can reopen it.


Before you begin:
  • You must be a Quality Manager or Complaint Investigator.
  • The complaint must be in In Process state.
  • Ensure that all objects related to the complaint are in Complete state.

  1. From the Complaint Power View page, in the Properties tab toolbar, select Actions > Close.

    You can also select the required complaint from the Complaints List page and select Actions > Close.

    The Close page appears.
  2. Type the reason for closing the complaint in the Comment box.
  3. Click Done.
    The complaint is closed.
