Modifying Equipment Service Request Details
You can modify the details of the ESR such as name of the person who service the model, parts replaced, original and extended warranty, and billing information.
- From the Equipment Service Request Power View page, in the Properties tab toolbar, click Edit.
- Modify the following details.
Field Name Description Complaint Handling Unit Type the name of the required company or click and select a company from the Search Results page. Country Of Origin Type the name of the required country or click and select a country from the Search Results page. Problem Description Details Update the information, as required. Service Performed Select Yes if the reported item was serviced. Otherwise, select No. Date of Service Click to select the required date. You can select today's date or a past date. Service Person Type the name of the service person or click and select a person from the Search Results page. Replaced Part Numbers Update the part numbers of replaced parts. Service Summary Update the summary of the service performed. Additional Information Update the information, as required. Warranty Repair Select Yes if the reported item was repaired under warranty. Otherwise, select No. Customer PO Number For Repair Modify the purchase order number of the repair performed. OEM Warranty Info Update the details of the warranty as provided by the manufacturer. Extended Warranty Info Update the details of the extended warranty, if any Other Billing Information Update billing information. Labor Hours Update the number of labor hours sent to service the product. Status Of Repair Update the status of the repair operation. Evaluation Type Click to select the subtype of the CPE. Note: You cannot edit the Evalution Type details if the investigation is created for the context complaint. - Click Done.The details of the ESR are updated.
