Closing an Inquiry

If you consider that an inquiry is complete, you can close the inquiry. When you close an inquiry, its state is set to Closed. After you close an inquiry, a Quality Manager can reopen it.


Before you begin:
  • You must be a Quality Manager or complaint investigator.
  • The inquiry must be in In Process state.
  • Ensure that all objects related to the inquiry are in Complete state.
  • You must be on the Inquiries List page or the Inquiry Power View page.

Converting Inquiries
  1. From the Inquiry Power View page, in the Properties tab toolbar, select Actions > Close.

    You can also select the required inquiry from the Inquiries List page and select Actions > Close

    The Close page appears.
  2. Type the reason for closing the inquiry in the Comment box.
  3. Click Done.
    The inquiry is closed.
