Inquiries List

The Inquiries List page displays the list of inquiries and related details.

To access this page:

From the Compass, click Social and Collaborative Apps  and select My Social And Collaborative AppsComplaints and Nonconformance.
The Complaints List page appears.
Click the Inquiries tab.

Inquiry Power View

Columns


Column Name	Description
Name	Name of the inquiry. Inquiry names are prefixed with INQ-
Type	Type of the object, inquiry
Status	State of the inquiry. Possible states are Create, In Process, and Closed.
Receipt Date	Date on which the inquiry was raised
	: a contact is associated with the ESR Point to to view the name of the contact person. Click to view the details of the contact person.
Problem Description Details	Description of the problem
Business Unit	Name of the responsible design organization of the associated model
Reported Against Item	Name of the product, physical product, model, or part for which the inquiry is created. Click to view its details.
	: inquiry is under investigation : inquiry investigation is complete or not required Blank: investigation not started for inquiry Point to view the status of the investigation. Click to view the details of the investigation.
	Severity of the investigation. denotes severity is low denotes severity is medium denotes severity is high denotes severity is urgent
Create	Number of days the inquiry is in Create state
In Process	Number of days the inquiry is in In Process state
Age	Age of the inquiry in number of days
Owner	Name of the inquiry owner

Filters

Based on your role, you can filter the Inquiries List to view inquiries by states or statuses.

Users with access to the app: active and closed inquiries owned by you or assigned to you
Quality Manager : unassigned inquiries, and inquiries in Create and In Process states
Complaint investigator: assigned and unassigned inquiries

Actions and Toolbar Commands


Action	Description	For More Information
> Accept	Assigns you the responsibility of the selected inquiry. Click OK to confirm. Note: Ensure the following: You must be a complaint investigator. You can accept only unassigned inquiries that are in In Process state.	--
> Transfer Ownership	Transfers the ownership of an inquiry	Transferring an Inquiry
> Submit for Evaluation	Promotes an inquiry from Create to In Process state. You must be the owner or a quality manager to perform this action. After you promote the inquiry to In Process state, an investigation object is created automatically, and the Investigation tab appears in the Inquiry Power View page.	About Investigation tab, see Investigation.
> Close	Closes an inquiry	Closing an Inquiry
> Invalidate	Invalidates an inquiry	Invalidating an Inquiry
> Delete	Deletes an inquiry. Click OK to confirm. You must be the owner or a quality manager to perform this action. You can delete inquiries only when they are in Create state.	--
Add Assignee	Adds an assignee to an inquiry	Adding Assignees
Create New	Creates an inquiry	Creating an Inquiry
