Modifying Patient Details

You can modify the details of a patient such as age, weight, medical history, lab test results, diagnosis details, death details, and autopsy details in case of death.

Before you begin: Ensure that the complaint is in Create or In Process state.

Adding a Patient
  1. From the Patient Properties page toolbar, click Edit.
  2. Modify the following details.
    Field Name Description
    Date Of Birth Click to select the required date. You can select today's date or a past date.
    Gender Select a gender. You can select Female or Male from the list.
    WeightModify the weight of the patient. If required, change the unit of weight. You can select any one of the following units.

    • g
    • kg
    • lb
    • mg
    • oz
    • T
    Medical HistoryModify the medical history of the patient. You can add information about allergies, surgeries performed, and treatments undergone.
    DeathSelect TRUE if the patient is dead. Otherwise, select FALSE.
    Death DateClick to select the required date. You can select today's date or a past date.
    Problem CodeClick and select a problem code from the XML Codes page.
    Additional InformationModify or add any additional information about the patient.
    Lab ResultsModify the results of laboratory tests performed on the patient.
    DiagnosisSelect TRUE if diagnostic procedures were performed on the patient. Otherwise, select FALSE.
    Remedial Action TakenClick and select a problem code from the XML Codes page.
    Diagnosis ResultsUpdate the results of the diagnosis.
    No Diagnosis RationaleUpdate the reason why diagnostic procedures were not performed on the patient.
    Autopsy PerformedSelect TRUE if autopsy was performed on the patient. Otherwise, select FALSE.
    Death Due To AutopsySelect TRUE if death occurred due to autopsy. Otherwise, select FALSE.
    ResultsUpdate the results of the autopsy, if autopsy was performed on the patient.
    OutcomeUpdate information about the outcome of the patient involved in the event.
    Other OutcomeType the outcome if you have selected Other in the Outcome list.
  3. Click Done.
    The updates are saved.

The updated patient details appear on the Patient Properties page.
