Adding a Patient

When a patient is affected by an event, you can add the patient to the event. You can provide details such as the date of birth, gender, and weight of the patient. You can also provide additional information about the patient.

Before you begin:
  • You must be the complaint owner.
  • The complaint must be in Create state.
  • You must be on theComplaint Power View page.

Modifying Patient Details
  1. From the Complaint Power View page, in the Events tab, select the required event.
  2. From the Events tab toolbar, select Actions > Patient > Add Patient.
    The Create Patient page appears.
  3. Enter the following details.
    Field Name Description
    Date Of BirthClick to select the required date. You can select today's date or a past date.
    GenderSelect a gender. You can select Female or Male.
    WeightType the weight of the patient in the box and select any one of the following units of weight from the list.

    • mg
    • oz
    • T
    CommentsType any additional information about the patient, if required.
  4. Click Done.
    The patient is created.

The created patient is added to the event. The identification number of the patient appears in the Events tab.
