Creating a Fulfillment

If you want to replace a reported item returned by a customer, you can create a fulfillment. You can create multiple fulfillment objects for a reported item in a complaint or equipment service request (ESR).


Before you begin:
  • You must be the owner, a quality manager, or complaint investigator.
  • The complaint or ESR must be in Create or In Process state.

  1. From the Returns/Fulfillments page, from the Fulfillments tab toolbar, select Actions > Create New
    The Create Fulfillment page appears.
  2. Enter the following details.
    Column Name Description
    Type Click to select the type as CPF or its subtype. When you select the subtype, the custom attributes that are added to the selected subtype are listed in the Custom Attributes section of the page.

    Reported Against Item Click and select an item from the Search Results page. The Search Results page lists all the products, physical products, and parts.
    Fulfillment TypeSelect a fulfillment type. You can select Coupon, Product Sample, Cheque, Credit, Return Box/Envelope, Literature, Tools, Kits, or Medical Release Form.
    Fulfillment DetailsDescribe the details of the fulfillment.
    QuantityType the quantity of fulfillment object
    Unit of MeasureSelect the unit of measure of the fulfillment object
    AmountType the amount of money to be given to the customer if fulfillment type is cheque or credit. In addition, select the relevant currency.
    Shipped to CustomerClick and select the date when fulfillment object was sent to customer
    Date Received By Customer Click and select the date when fulfillment object was received by customer
    Date Shipped From Customer Click and select the date
    Date Received From Customer Click and select the date
    CarrierSelect the shipping carrier by which fulfillment is sent. You can select FedEx, UPS, USPS, or Other.
    MethodSelect the shipping method by which fulfillment is sent. You can select 2nd Day, Nexy Day by 10AM, Overnight, or Standard.
    Customer NameType the name of the customer or click and select a customer from the Search Results page.
    Custom Attributes Type the additional information for the custom attributes that are selected as subtype of the CPF.
  3. Optional: To create new customer, perform the following actions.
    1. In the Shipping Details section, set the value of Create New to Yes
    2. Enter the details of the new customer.
  4. Click Done.
    The fulfillment is created with the prefix CPTFL-.

The created fulfillment appears in the Fulfillments tab.
