Modifying Return Properties

If you want to change the details of a reported item associated with a return, you can modify it. You can update details such as quantity, serial number, RMA number, and shipping details.


Before you begin:
  • You must be the owner, a quality manager, or complaint investigator.
  • The complaint or ESR must be in Create or In Process state.

  1. From the Returns/Fulfillments page, from the Returns tab toolbar, click Edit All.
  2. Modify the following details.
    Column Name Description
    QuantityClick the displayed value and type the quantity of product returned.
    Unit of MeasureClick the displayed value and select a unit of measure.
    Serial NumberClick the displayed value and type the required serial number.
    RMA NumberClick the displayed value and type the RMA number of the reported item.
    Shipping Carrier Click the displayed value and select a shipping carrier. You can select FedEx, UPS, USPS, or Other.
    Receiver Name Click the displayed value. Type the name of the receiver, or click and select a person from the Search Results page.
    Receiver Date Click the displayed date, click , and select the required date.
  3. Click Save.
    The updated details are saved.
  4. Click View All in the tab toolbar to exit edit mode.
