Storage Condition Page

A storage condition defines the method used to store the product as approved by the regulatory authority. The product can only have a single storage condition for a specific combination of condition type and handling type. For example, you can only define one storage condition for the combination of Before Use and Handling Environment Humidity.

Required access role: Regulatory User

To access the list of storage conditions for a market authorization or marketing authorization change:

  1. Open the required market authorization or market authorization change. See Opening a Market Authorization or Opening a Market Authorization Change.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Storage Condition.

To access the list of storage conditions for a product:

  1. Open the required product. See Opening the Regulatory and Additional Details Categories for a Product.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Additional Details.
  3. Click the Storage Condition page tab.

Columns

Section Column Name Description
Name The automatically-generated name of the storage condition. The first row shows the product details, all other rows show the storage condition.
Title The descriptive name of the storage condition.
Type The item type on this row.
State The current lifecycle state of the storage condition: Exists.
Storage Condition Condition Type Defines when this condition applies:
  • Before Use
  • After Use
Shelf Life The shelf life of the product.
Handling Type How the product should be handled:
  • Handling Environment Atmospheric Pressure
  • Handling Environment Humidity
  • Handling Environment Temperature
  • Special Storage Conditions
  • Storage Environment Atmospheric Pressure
  • Storage Environment Humidity
  • Storage Environment Temperature
Condition Indicates any special storage requirements for the product.
Low Value The minimum temperature at which the product should be stored.
High Value The maximum temperature at which the product should be stored.
Unit of Measure The unit of measure for the condition:
  • degf (degrees Fahrenheit)
  • Cel (degrees Celsius
  • Kdeg (degrees Kelvin)
  • kPa (kilopascal)
  • Percent

Actions/Toolbar Commands

Required access role: Regulatory User

Action Name Description
Delete Deletes the selected storage conditions. Click OK to confirm.

In the context of a market authorization, any Regulatory User can delete storage conditions.

In the context of a product, only the Product Manager can delete storage conditions.

Enable Edit Toggles the page into edit mode. The page must be in edit mode to create or delete storage conditions.
Disable Edit Toggles the page into view mode.
Insert New Row Adds a row to the table to create a storage condition.

In the context of a market authorization, any Regulatory User can add a storage condition.

In the context of a product, only the Product Manager can add a storage condition.

Remove Removes a newly-inserted row. You cannot remove a row after you have edited its content. You can only delete it.

Creating Storage Conditions

On the Storage Conditions list, you can create storage conditions by adding rows to this table.

Required access role: Product Manager

To create a storage condition, follow these steps:

  1. From the page toolbar, click Enable Edit .
  2. From the page toolbar, click Insert Row . The app adds a blank row to the table.
  3. Enter details for all of the columns except Name. See Columns.
  4. Click Save.

    Market Registration assigns a name using this format: SC- followed by the next sequential number.
