Calibration Tools Section

The calibration tools enable you to import test data, define a material model, and run a calibration.

This page discusses:

Calibration Setup
Defines the various options for the calibration.
See Executing the Calibration.
Test Data
Imports a test data set.
See Importing a Set of Experimental Test Data.
Range Response Data
See Flyout for Range Response Data.
Material Model
Creates or modifies the material model to be calibrated.
See Specifying the Material Model in the Analytical Execution Mode.
Execute
Executes a calibration.
See Executing the Calibration.
Create Plot
Creates a new plot for displaying test data and responses.
See Creating a New Plot of Test Data or Response Data.
Plot Options
Allows modification of default plot display options.
See Setting Plot Options for Individual Test Data Sets or Responses in a Plot.
Material Stability Data
Evaluates the stability of a hyperelastic or hyperfoam material.
See Enforcing Stability Settings During the Calibration.
User Subroutine
Attaches a user subroutine library to the calibration.
See Linking a User Subroutine.
Create Material
Creates a core material with simulation domain containing the material model properties.
See Creating a 3DEXPERIENCE Material With Calibration Data.
Export Input File
Exports the material to an Abaqus input file excerpt.
See Exporting Calibration Data to an Abaqus Input File Snippet.
Mesh Data
See Flyout for Import Mesh.
Import Material
Imports a 3DEXPERIENCE material object or a material defined in an Abaqus input file snippet.
See Importing Existing Material Data for Use as the Initial Parameter Values in a Calibration

Flyout for Range Response Data

Range Response Data
Creates an artificial set of test driver data to evaluate a material response.
See Defining Response Data.

Import Response Only Data
Allows the import of driving strain, time, and/or temperature from a file.
See Importing a Response Data Set.

Flyout for Import Mesh

Import Mesh
Imports an input file for a meshed calibration.
See Importing a Finite Element Model.
Meshed Output
Creates an output request on an element or node that is associated with a test data set.
See Performing Data Matching for Imported Finite Element Model Material Data.
