Exporting to chemSHERPA Article Tool

If you have the chemSHERPA data management option, you can use the export to chemSHERPA Article Tools report type. Materials Compliance Management export only uses the chemSHERPA v2.00 format. Materials Compliance Management does not export data for the chemSHERPA Chemical Tool.

In the chemSHERPA tool, the unit of measurement (UOM) for weight are listed as ug, mg, g, kg. The UOM ug is used only within the chemSHERPA tool. By default, the chemSHERPA tool converts any weight with ug to mg during export from tool because XML schema does not allow ug as a UOM.

For this export format, Materials Compliance Management always exports to reporting level = 3 to include chemSHERPA Article tool. These include top level part (main page in tool), Level part (Level section in the Composition page), and Component part (Component section in the Composition page). Part in Component section is the leaf containing materials. For MEP, Materials Compliance Management only exports the calculated materials. If BOM has less than 3 levels, Materials Compliance Management uses the top level part, empty for the Level section, and leaf in the Component section.
