From the Properties section of the action bar,
click Surface Section
 .
- Optional:
Enter a descriptive
Name.
- Select a geometry support.
You can apply a surface section to a 2D body, 2D mesh, BRep, Group, or publication. You can use geometry from an ordered
geometric set. For axisymmetric models, you select a cross-section that becomes a
surface when the axisymmetric body is rotated. For more information, see About Axisymmetric Simulations. - Specify the Density per unit area for the surface.
- Click OK.
