Recent Parts

You can view a list of your most recently modified parts in My Engineering View. Manufacturing BOM Management includes manufacturing parts and subtypes, and phantom parts.

  1. From the Compass, click Social and Collaborative Apps , and select the Manufacturing BOM app.
  2. Click Manufacturing > My Manufacturing View.
    Note: The initial view shows the 50 most recently modified parts that you own.
  3. To view additional parts, open the engineering dashboard and click the parts value in the Items section.
Column Description
Name The unique identifier for the part, such as "PartB-203". This distinguishes the part from all other parts. Right-click to access additional commands. See Context Menu.
Title The common identifier for the part, such as "3in valve". The title does not have to be unique.
Revision The part revision number or code specified when the part was created
Not Last Revision The relationship of this revision to other revisions, if any, that exist.

{no icon}: This is the latest revision.

: A newer revision exists.

: A newer published revision exists.

State The current state of the part or object in its lifecycle
Type The part type or subtype. For My Manufacturing View, only manufacturing parts are shown.
Policy The policy for the part or object derived from a part
Change Required Shows 'True' if the part is under change-required; otherwise, 'False'. If the part is change-required and the governing CA belongs to a group, the group name is listed.
Phase The release phase of the part, either Development or Production.
Description Details about the part or object
Last Modified Date when any attribute of the part was last changed. The modified date changes automatically when changes are made to the part attributes.

Actions Menu and Toolbar Commands

Select one or more parts and use any of the following commands in the page toolbar.

Delete Delete the part from the database. See Deleting a Part.
BOM Compare Report Open the BOM Compare Report page to compare selected parts. See Generating a BOM Structure Comparison Report.
