View Element Quality in a Table
You can view a table displaying the number and percentage of good, poor, and bad elements, as well as the worst element and average element, relative to several quality criteria.
-
From the Check section of the action bar,
click Quality Analysis
.
Tip: You can also right-click the mesh in the tree and select Analyze to analyze the mesh quality of a single mesh. Alternatively, you can select Quality Analysis from the context menu in the Mesh Part Manager. The Quality Report panel appears and displays tabs containing information about the meshes in the finite element model representation. -
Select the Quality tab.
The Quality tab displays the following information:
- The number and percentage of good, poor, and bad elements relative to all the quality criteria.
- The quality criteria scores for the worst element in the mesh and for the average element.
- The current criteria file information.
Important: If you previously edited the quality criteria for imported criteria, such as Elfini Checks, the Quality Report prompts you to synchronize the current FEM with the initialization criteria stored in the database. - The total number of elements in the Global mesh.
Tip: To reframe the view of the model to an element of a specific quality and criterion, right-click the cell in the criterion row that corresponds to the Poor, Bad, or Worst column and select Reframe On.
