Parts Accepted List

When received parts are reviewed by a Compliance Engineer at the Materials Compliance Management host company, the engineer has the ability to set the Supplier Status to "Accepted". The Parts Accepted page displays all parts that have been accepted by the Materials Compliance Management host company.

To access this page, select My Desk > Requested Parts.

Columns

Column NameDescription
MarkCheck box for marking one or more parts to be downloaded in a tab-delimited file.
Material Declaration NameThe name of the accepted material declaration.
Requester P/NHost company part number. Click the name to view supplier-specific properties and the materials and substances declared for the part.
Part NameThe part name.
Part Revision The part revision identifier.
Supplier Part NumberThe supplier part number. Click the name to view supplier-specific properties and the materials and substances declared for the part.
Supplier Part Revision The supplier part revision identifier.
Declaration EditorLists the actions you can take using the declaration editor:

Create If the host company imported Material Declarations (not submitted using this Materials Compliance Supplier Portal, and then accepted that part, the Create icon shows. Do not use the Declaration Editor to create a Material Declaration for this part.
View / Edit Opens the accepted Material Declaration for review or edit. See Declaration Editor for IPC 1752 for the list of fields.

You can only edit Material Declarations that you created. If you see a message such as "Declaration Owned by PERSON," another user from this supplier organization created the Material Declaration and is the only one who can edit it.

Submit Submits the Material Declaration toMaterials Compliance Management. See IPC 1752 Material Declaration Validation for information about the validations performed before submitting the Material Declaration.

The data is converted to IPC XML data compliant with the IPC schema standards and submitted to Materials Compliance Management for import. No changes have been made to the import process.

Read the certification text prior to clicking OK.

After you click OK, the app opens a dialog box to let you attach any number of files to the material declaration.

  • If you do not want to attach files, click OK.
  • Click Choose File to select the file you want to attach.
  • Click Add More Files to attach additional files.
When you click OK in this dialog box, the app submits the material declaration including any attached files.

Declaration Owned by Only shows if the Material Declaration is owned by a different person. The tooltip shows the person who owns this Material Declaration.
Delete Deletes the Material Declaration for the part on that row.

Date AcceptedThe last "Status Changed Date" for the part.
CommentsAny comments, typically from the Compliance Engineer or requestor.
Import FileThe import file name for the accepted parts.

Actions/Toolbar Commands

RefreshRefreshes the list.
Printer Friendly ListDisplays a printer-friendly list of the parts.

Filter

You can use the Show Parts Accepted filter to refine the list of parts using a date range. Select a Since year/month/day and a By year/month/day, then click Filter.
