Completing an IPC 1752 Material Declaration Form

If you do not use the Declaration Editor, you can use the downloaded IPC 1752 form to complete a material declaration.

  1. Open a blank IPC 1752 Form and proceed to page 2 of the form. For more information about steps 1-4, see Filling Out the IPC 1752 Form.
  2. Click Import Data on the top of the page.
  3. Locate and select the XML file you want to import.
    When the selected XML file is imported into the IPC 1752 form, the proper reporting class will be pre-populated.
  4. Complete the Supplier Information section and all other sections appropriate to the class of reporting requested by the Materials Compliance Management host company.
  5. Fill out the digital signature form.
  6. Click Sign and Save As.
    This button creates a new PDF file and maintains a blank IPC-1752 master file.
  7. When the IPC 1752 form is complete, click Export Data on the top of page 2 of the form.
  8. Save the generated XML file to your local desktop. In the file name include the part number and current date so that a unique file name is created.
  9. Upload the completed IPC 1752 XML file to the Materials Compliance Management host company via the Materials Compliance Supplier Portal. For more information, see Uploading a Completed IPC 1752 XML File.
