Configuring the Phone Ingredient

You can configure the Phone Ingredient as an Action to make Potion send text messages.

Before you begin: During the configuration of Potion, add Phone as an Action. For more information, see Configuring Potion.

  1. From the Magically list, select Send a text message.
  2. In the To field, enter at least one phone number in international format, that is a phone number preceded by its country code, then click Add .

    Tip: You can enter several phone numbers at once by separating them with a comma.

    Recipients can unsubscribe from phone notifications at anytime without your knowledge. For more information, see Managing Email and Phone Notifications.

  3. In the Message option, do either or both of the following:
    • Select the option that may be retrieved from the Trigger you configured.
    • In the field, enter a text of your own.
  4. Click Save.
