Specifying a Mouse Profile
Three preferences are now available to let you select a mouse profile for
manipulating viewpoints in your dashboard app: CATIA,
SOLIDWORKS, and 3DEXPERIENCE.
To specify this option:
- Select .
- From the Mouse Control area, select the required option. By
default, 3DEXPERIENCE is selected.
Benefits: You can gain easier access to viewpoints in your dashboard app by specifying
the mouse profile option that best fits your needs.

Widget Configuration Between Sessions
When you refresh or reload a Physics Simulation Review widget on a dashboard, the app now restores most forms of content and preserves the viewpoint from your
previous session.
The following features are retained or restored in Physics Simulation Review:
- Current analysis case and content type
- Time frame or frequency mode of the analysis case
- Step and load case (for native apps)
- Legend lock state on a specific step
- Min/max changes
- Side panel selection and display of content
- Side panel layout of charts
- Current camera view
- 3D viewpoint from panning, zooming, or rotating
Note:
The 3D viewpoint is kept
and restored, with or without cameras. For example, if you select a camera and
then pan or zoom, these customizations are kept and reapplied in addition to the
camera settings.
When you refresh or reload a widget, visualization changes are not restored. For
example, hidden parts, switched materials, and changes in transparency are not
preserved. In addition, when you load a new simulation in a widget, the session
resets; Physics Simulation Review does not attempt to apply the previous configuration settings to the new
simulation.
Benefits: Keeping and restoring the widget configuration settings saves you time when
preparing your 3DDashboard. It is particularly helpful when you are accessing several Physics Simulation Review widgets from the dashboard at the same time, when your experience content contains several types of content
(model, scenario, and results), and when the results contain 3D charts.
