Submitting a CAPA Request for Review

You can submit a CAPA request to promote it from the Preliminary state to the Review state. If you assign a reviewer, the CAPA request is promoted to the Review state and assigned to the reviewer. If you do not assign a reviewer, the CAPA request is promoted to the Requested state. You can submit multiple CAPA requests.

  • App-specific: Quality Manager

Creating a CAPA
  1. Perform any one of the following actions.
    • From the CAPA Requests Page, select the required CAPA requests and from the page toolbar, select Actions > Submit for Review.
    • From the CAPA Request Properties toolbar, click Submit for Review.
    • Note: If you select the CAPA requests that are added to the different collaborative space, the error message is displayed.
    The Submit page appears.
  2. Click displayed next to the Responsible Organization box and from the page that appears, select the required organization or its sub business unit.
  3. Optional: Click displayed next to the Reviewer box and from the page that appears, select a person to nominate as the reviewer.

    Note: The Search Results page lists all the users to whom the security context assigned as Leader > Selected Responsible Organization > Collaborative Space of the context CAPA request.

  4. Click Done.
    The CAPA request is submitted for review.

If you have assigned a reviewer, the CAPA request is promoted to the Review state and assigned to the reviewer. If you have not assigned a reviewer, the CAPA request is promoted to the Requested state. You are the owner of the CAPA request until a Quality Manager accepts it. A Quality Manager can use the Unassigned filter on the CAPA Requests Page to view the CAPA requests that are in the Requested state. Requests that are resubmitted are promoted to the Review state automatically and assigned to the previous reviewer.
