Raceway GVS parameters are displayed:
You are now in a position to start customizing the parameters to suit your Raceway setup:
- Setting parameters such as NominalSize, LineType, Color, etc. is a straightforward choice according to your requirements.
- Setting data sources such as Catalog/Chapter Name for parts and text requires integration with your Data Setup resources and is outlined in the steps which follow.
- Select and TextTemplate.
The Raceway Part GVS parameters for GraphicRepresentation and TextTemplate appear.
- Create the links between GVS and your catalogs of 2D symbols and text:
- Set to the same name as the catalog or chapter assigned to the Raceway Design Resource table in Data Setup.
- Set to the same name as the catalog or chapter assigned to the Raceway Design Resource table in Data Setup.
- Set to the prefix of the 2D symbols stored in the catalog.
- Set to the name of the 2D text template stored in the catalog.
- Repeat the previous step as necessary for other GVS parameters, including (but not limited to) Support.
- When finished, do one of the following:
- To overwrite the default GVS parameters .xml file, click OK.
- To save the customized GVS parameters in a new .xml file, click Save As New.
- To abandon your changes, click Cancel.
