Creating a Rebar Drawing

You can generate and customize the drawing of rebar layers with annotations.

The Rebar Drawing command, available in the Multi-Discipline Drafting app, provides a simplified representation of a rebar layer in a Generative Drawing document with the possibility to choose the bars in the layer that have to be projected. You can also automate the creation of an annotation on top of the 2D bar geometry.

To help you find the reference information you need to use the content delivered along with your app, you can consult the 3DEXPERIENCE Native Apps Content User's Guide.

This task shows you how to:

Before you begin:
  • Open/Create a product with at least one rebar layer.
  • The rebar annotations are defined in a catalog that is linked to the resource set in the Data Setup. You need to familiarize yourself with the sample files which are provided for you by default from win_b64\resources\Civil\Rebars\DrawingTemplate. The files include the View Update Rule Template.
The app optional content is not automatically installed along with the code. Contact your administrator if you must install the files you need. For more information, see Install Optional Content.
