Creating an Output Format

You can create an output format to specify the format and the output styles for the generation process.


Before you begin: You must have the Leader role to create or edit an output format.

About Report Output Formats
  1. From the Output Formats page, click Create Output Format .
  2. In the Create Output Format form, enter a name and a title.

    For more information, see Rules for Naming and Search.

    Tip: To facilitate the report creation, include the intended output format extension in the output format name. For more information about supported extensions, see Output Formats.
  3. In the File box, select a default output format file.
    If you select None, you must attach a file later. For more information, see Attaching a File to an Output Format.
  4. Optional: If several policies are available for the output format type, select a policy in the Policy list.

A new output format is added to the Output Formats page.
