Test Executions Page

The Test Executions page lists all of the test executions related to a test case. One or many test execution objects can be created for planning and to record the number of test iterations used to validate the test case.

To access this page:

  1. Open the test case. See Opening a Test Case.
  2. In the navigation pane, select Test Executions.

Columns

Column NameDescription
NameThe name of the test execution. Click to open the test execution.
StateThe current state of the test execution in its lifecycle.
Slip DaysThe difference between the estimated end date and the actual end date. If the actual end date is not present, then it is the difference between the estimated end date and the current system date. If neither end date is present, this field is blank.
Percentage PassedThe percentage of tests that passed. The QE Manager updates this field during the Final Review state before promoting the test execution to the Complete state.
Estimated:
StartThe date when the test execution is estimated to start.
FinishThe date when the test execution is estimated to end.
Actual:
StartThe date when the test execution actually started.
FinishThe date when the test execution actually ended.
OwnerThe person who is currently assigned responsibility for the test execution.

Delete Deletes selected test executions. Click OK to confirm.

You can only delete a test execution if it is in the Create state.

Enable Edit Toggles the page into edit mode. In edit mode, you can edit the Percentage Passed, and the Estimated Start and Estimated Finish dates.-
Disable Edit Toggles the page into read-only mode.-
