Requirement Properties Page

The requirement Properties page displays the various attributes of a requirement on the Attributes tab.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Reader, Author, or Leader

To access this page:

  1. From the requirements list, select the requirement name. See Requirement Detail Page.
  2. In the navigation pane, select Properties > Attributes.

Columns

Column Name Description
NameThe name of the requirement. This can be an automatically-generated name.
TypeThe type of item.
RevThe current revision of the requirement.
Higher Revision ExistsIndicates whether a higher revision of the requirement exists.
TitleThe short title of the requirement.
ContentAdditional information about the requirement.
OrganizationThe company associated with the requirement.
ProjectThe project associated with the requirement.
OwnerThe person who owns the requirement.
ModifiedThe date on which the requirement was last modified.
OriginatorThe person who created the requirement.
OriginatedThe date on which the requirement was created.
Active Engineering ChangeIndicates whether an engineering change exists for the requirement.
Lock StateIndicates whether the requirement is locked.
PriorityIndicates the priority of the requirement.
DifficultyIndicates the difficulty of the requirement.
Sponsoring CustomerThe customer sponsoring the requirement.
Designated UserThe designated user of the requirement.
User Requirement ImportanceIndicates the importance of the requirement to the user.
Requirement ClassificationIndicates the user classification of the requirement.
Requirement CategoryIndicates the category of the requirement.
Specification PathsLists the specifications associated with the requirement. Click to open the specification.
Propagate AccessSelected means access to all child objects of the requirement through ownership inheritance is enabled. Cleared means access to the child objects of the requirement through ownership inheritance is disabled.
Note: Ownership access is available only if the parent object has enabled propagation and the child object has enabled inheritance.
Inherit AccessSelected means that access to the requirement through ownership inheritance from the parent object is enabled. Cleared means access to the requirement through ownership inheritance from the parent object is disabled.

Lifecycle graphIndicates the current lifecycle of the requirement.
