Opening a Chapter

You can view the information related to a chapter.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Reader, Author, or Leader

  1. View a specification. See Specification Detail Page.
  2. In the structure, select the name of the chapter.
    The chapter's Properties page opens in a new browser window.
  3. You can use the categories in the navigation pane to access information related to the chapter.

    Category Name Category Tabs Description
    Chapter name Properties Lists the chapter properties.
    Customer Extensions Lists the customer extensions associated with the chapter.
    History -

    Displays a log of events that have occurred.
    Lifecycle Lifecycle Shows the Lifecycle of the chapter.
    Tasks/Signatures Shows the Tasks/Signatures associated with the chapter.
    Approvals Shows the Approvals associated with the chapter.
    Revisions - Shows the revisions of the chapter.
    Structure View - Shows the structure of the chapter.
    Change Management Change Order Shows the change orders associated with the chapter.
    Change Request Shows the change requests associated with the chapter.
    Change Legacy Shows the legacy change objects associated with the chapter.
    Engineering Changes -

    Lists all the engineering changes connected to the chapter.
    Configuration Criteria - Manages the configuration context associated with the chapter.
    Cloning Information - Shows cloning information for the chapter.
