Model Versions Page

The Model Versions page lists the model versions that are associated with the disposition. A disposition can be associated with several model version revisions if the defect is being disposed of in the same manner, using the same defect action (if there is one), in all of those model version revisions.

Required access roles:

  • App-specific: Defect Engineer
  • Baseline: Author, Reader, a user with Review and Approve (RWA) license

To access this page:

  1. View the properties page for the disposition. See Disposition Properties Page.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Model Versions.

Columns

Column NameDescription
NameThe name of the model version. Click to view the model version's Properties page. See Model Version Properties Page.
Shows if a higher revision of the model version exists.
Shows if the model version revision has a related active engineering change (EC). For details about ECs, see Collaboration and Approvals User's Guide: Engineering Changes.
Shows the primary image for the model version, if defined. Click the image to open the Images page, where you can view all images for the model version. See Collaboration and Approvals User's Guide: Images Page.
RevisionThe model version revision number or code.
TagsThe names of any tags assigned to this revision.
TypeThe type of model version.
Description A detailed description about the model version.
Start EffectivityThe date when the model version is available for configuration sessions.
End EffectivityThe date when the model version is no longer available for configuration sessions.
Governing ProjectThe project created in Project Management that is used to govern the model version created in Product Line Management. This column is blank if Project Management is not installed.
Current Phase The current milestone, phase, or tollgate the project is in, which is the first top-level task that is not in the Complete state. This column is blank if Project Management is not installed.
Phase CompletionThe estimated completion date of the current phase of the governing project. This column is blank if Project Management is not installed.
State The current state of the model version in its lifecycle.
Owner The person responsible for the model version.
Design ResponsibilityThe organization or project with design responsibility for the model version.
Shows the icon if files are checked into or connected to the model version. Click the icon to open the Files page. See Collaboration and Approvals User's Guide: Files Associated with an Object.
Click the icon to open the model version's Properties page in a new window. See Model Version Properties Page.
