Archive the Files in a Document

You can clean up the database by removing obsolete files and temporary files that are stored in simulation documents. You can save the files inside the document to a local directory by archiving the document. You can then remove the files from the document by purging the document.

  1. From the search menu in the Top Bar, search for simulation documents.
  2. From the Search window that appears, enter the criteria to select the documents, such as the Title or Owner. If desired, click More and enter the Size of the files to archive.
  3. Click Search.
    Process Composer displays the simulation documents that meet the selection criteria.
  4. Select the simulation documents to archive, and click Archive .
  5. From the Save dialog box that appears, select the path to the directory in which to save the files and click Save.
    If you select a document containing a single file, Process Composer saves the file to the selected directory. If you select a document containing more than one file or if you select more than one document, Process Composer saves a .zip file containing all the files in all the documents.
  6. From the Download Complete dialog box that appears, click Close.
