You can place a part using a specification. A specification is an attribute of a line ID, so you need to have the appropriate line IDs created.

Place a Part by Logical DrivenYou can select a part with a logical subtype compatible with the physical one. Logical driven is available only with an Engineering Specification Data Setup. Before you begin: In the Functional & Logical Design app, from the 2D Graph section of the action bar, click Open 2D Graph in New Tab to open the diagram view in a new tab .
