Software Prerequisites

Study Design and Tracking requires installation of other BIOVIA software on an application server.

Installation Roadmap

Before you install and configure Study Design and Tracking, you must install the following BIOVIA applications. Properly configure these to work with Study Design and Tracking.

Install each of these BIOVIA applications according to their respective System Requirements and Installation Guide. You can install them all together on a single server, or you can implement load balancing of each application if that is supported. Study Design and Tracking exploits Foundation Hub to ensure secure communication with all other BIOVIA applications.

Foundation Hub, CISPro, Pipeline Pilot, and the optional Compose & Capture and Workbook comprise part of the wider BIOVIA Unified Lab Management (ULM) solution. For more information, see the BIOVIA Unified Lab Management System Requirements and BIOVIA Unified Lab Management Deployment Guide.

Tip: The table below only lists the major versions of these BIOVIA applications. Additional hotfixes might be available for each application version.
Important: When you have installed Pipeline Pilot Server for use with Study Design and Tracking, install the associated Study Design and Tracking Pipeline Pilot protocols on that Pipeline Pilot Server.
