Organizing Materials

You can change the order of the materials in the study so that the design matches your planning.

Before you begin: Add new or existing materials to your study.

Edit Study
  1. Select the Materials tab of a study being edited.
  2. To change the order of the rows:
    • Click in the row of the material you want to move, and then drag the row to a new location within the list.
    • Select any empty area within the row (outside of its text fields) and then drag the row to a new location.
    The selected material shows a blue background during moving. The target location displays as a plain blue inserted row until you place the moved material there. The moved material remains selected until you add or remove a material from the list or click another tab of the study.
  3. To save your changes to the study, click Apply.

For materials that contain input parameters, this also updates the order of the material columns in the Parameters table, and the order of the materials and activities in the Custom Filter.
