Access via Search Results with a Behavior Experience Query
You can access the Behavior Experience app via the Search Results
panel from a Simulation query.
- To search all simulations containing "m" in the name, enter sim:*m* in the Search box of the top bar.

Platform:Top Bar. - Click Search
.The Search Results
panel appears. - Right-click a result that is presented as LogicalSimulation in the Discipline column of the Search Results
panel, and select Open.
You access the Behavior Experience app.
Notes:
- Only results that are presented as LogicalSimulation in the Discipline column of the results list can displayed in the Behavior Experience app.
- If you double-click the result instead of using Open from the context menu, you enter the Simulation Finder. From than you can enter the Behavior Experience by clicking Open (Simulation) with Model
from the Simulation Navigator section of the action bar.
Access via a Function or Logical Component Query
You can access the Behavior Experience app by a functional or logical system search.
- You can search for functional or logical systems:
- To search all functional systems, containing "m" in the name, enter func:*m* in the Search box of the top bar.
- To search all logical systems, containing "m" in the name, enter log:*m* in the Search box of the top bar.

panel appears. - In the upper toolbar of the Search Results
panel, click B.I. Essentials
.The B.I. Essentails dialog box appears. - In the B.I. Essentails, select Simulation from the list.
Models attached to a simulation object are highlighted in the Search Results
panel.
- Right-click a highlighted functional or logical system in the Search Results
panel, and select
.You can also use from the context menu. The functional or logical system is displayed in the System Finder. - In the System Finder, from the Tools section of the action bar or System Finder, click B.I. Essentials
.The B.I.
Essentials dialog box appears. - In the B.I.
Essentials dialog box, select Simulation.
The following actions are performed:
- In the immersive window, click the link.
A Simulations using item window is displayed. A line indicates to which system the window is related. - In the Simulations using item window, right-click and an functional or logical simulation, and select Explore.
The Simulation Finder opens and displays your experiment. Note:
Depending on previous app handling, the Collaborative
Lifecycle app may open instead.
- You can display the experiment in the Behavior Experience app in several ways:
The simulation is displayed in the Behavior Experience app.
Access via Search Results with a Dymola Behavior Library Query (Simulation Finder)
You can access the Behavior Experience app via the Search Results
panel from a Dymola library query.
- To search all Dymola behavior libraries or models, containing "m" in the name, enter dbl:*m* in the Search box of the top bar.

panel, click B.I. Essentials
.The B.I. Essentails dialog box appears. - In the B.I. Essentails dialog box, select Simulation from the list.
Models attached to a simulation object are highlighted in the Search Results
panel.
- Click the model you want to explore.
A tooltip displays the number of simulation objects attached to this model.  - Expand the tooltip to get the name of the related simulations.
- Right-click a simulation object, then select Explore.
The simulation object opens in the Simulation Finder. - To access the Behavior Experience app, click Open (Simulation) with Model
from the Simulation Navigator section of the action bar.
