Editing and Deleting End Cuts

You can edit and delete previously placed end cuts.

This task shows you how to:


Before you begin: Open a structure that contains a panel with a number of stiffeners.

Edit End Cuts

You can edit previously defined end cuts.

  1. From the Detail section of the action bar, click EndCut .
    The End Cut dialog box appears.
  2. Select the stiffeners whose end cut you want to edit.
    Both extremities of the selected stiffeners are listed in the End Cut dialog box.
  3. To modify the end cut placed at the extremity, follow the same procedure as explained in the Creating End Cuts from step 4.

Notes:
  • If the location is changed, the end cut location is also updated. You need to update the connection set to update the graphical representation of end cut. For more information, see About Connection Sets.
  • To display the previously created endcuts with graphic primitives defined in the endcut table, you need to update the connection set.

Delete End Cuts

You can delete previously defined end cuts.

  1. From the Detail section of the action bar, click EndCut .
    The End Cut dialog box appears.
  2. Select the stiffeners whose end cut you want to delete.
    Both extremities of the selected stiffeners are listed in the End Cut dialog box.
  3. Right-click the extremity and select Delete End Cut.
    The End Cut dialog box changes to:
    • None if the limits are not defined.
    • Short Point if the limits are defined.
  4. Click OK to delete the end cut.

Note: When the end cut is deleted, you need to update the connection set to update the graphical representation of end cut. For more information, see About Connection Sets.
