Managing Simulation Jobs

You can manage all the simulation jobs associated with a simulation process.

  1. To manage your simulation jobs, click the current job header.

    Performance Study displays a list of all the simulation jobs associated with the simulation process. The list includes any jobs that were created by running a single simulation activity within the simulation process from the Inputs/Outputs page.
    Note: The icon indicates jobs that you own.
  2. Select More Jobs - Manage.
  3. From the list of simulation jobs that appears, select a simulation job and use the commands across the top of the list to do the following:

    Delete Delete the selected job.
    Log Display the log of the selected job.
    Download Download a .zip file containing the following files from the selected job:
    • Model.xml - a representation of the simulation process that contains information about activities and steps, attributes and parameters, and owned and referenced content.

    • .log - the job log information that is shown on the Logs page.
    • .summary - a summary of the job.
    • .nrf - a compressed file containing the parameter history during each step of each activity.
    Show Owned Display only the jobs that you own.
  4. Click in the Title or Description columns to edit these properties for a job.
  5. Optional: If you have Results Analytics or Collaborative Lifecycle in your dashboard, drag a job from Performance Study to open it in one of these apps.
  6. Use the filters to display only the simulation jobs that match the filter. For example, you can use the Remarks filter to display only the jobs that completed.
  7. Click Close to close the Jobs dialog box.
