Linear Structural Validation is a native app that
lets you create and manage:
- A finite element model that is used to
represent the model geometry during a simulation.
- Materials that specify the mechanical and thermal behavior and properties of a model.
- Connections (for example, bolts and springs) that tie a model to its surroundings or join
components within an assembly.
- Restraints (such as clamps, hinges, and
ball joints) that fix translational or rotational degrees of freedom for regions
of a model.
- Loads (such as pressure and forces)
that represent concentrated or distributed tractions applied to a model by an
external source.
- Thermal conditions (such as
temperature, heat flux, and ambient radiation) that can induce stress or change
material properties.
- Results features (such as contour
plots, symbol plots, and sensors) that help you analyze and view a completed
simulation.
