What's New

This page describes recent changes in Simulation Process Administration.

R2022x FD01 (FP.2205)

Creating Custom Adapters

You can now create custom adapters to add to your simulation process.
You can add custom adapters to your process from Process Composer for Dashboard. For more information, see the Knowledge Base article Create a custom process adapter.
Benefits: Creating your own adapter can allow you to extend the functionality of your simulation process.
For more information, see Custom Adapters

Object Management Improvements

For simulation connectors and attribute groups, you can now upload an image for the object, edit object information from the table, and refresh the list to reflect any changes made in other apps.
Benefits: Refreshing, changing images, and inline editing give you more control and customization ability for simulation process objects.
For more information, see Managing Attribute Groups Managing Simulation Connectors

Restrict Creation of Simulation Attributes and Attribute Groups

An administrator can now restrict users from creating simulation attributes and attribute groups.
An administrator can restrict the creation and editing attributes and attribute groups by hiding the Attributes and Attribute Groups tabs from users.
Benefits: Limiting which users can create attributes and attribute groups prevents the inconsistent use of attributes and the creation of redundant or excessive attributes.
For more information, see Restricting Users from Creating Attributes and Attribute Groups

Tenant and Credentials Display

You can now view your tenant and credentials information from the toolbar at the top of the widget.
Benefits: Viewing tenant and credentials information from the widget top bar lets you quickly check information such as your collaborative space, access role, and organization.
