Deploying Your Custom Methods Using the Direct Approach

You can deploy custom methods into Physics Methods Reuse using an index file with an environment variable.

Before you begin: You must have an index file and one or more method files to deploy custom methods.

  1. Before running the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, set the environment variable SMAMPA_CUSTOM_METHODS_PATH to the directory that contains the method and index files.
    Physics Methods Reuse searches the specified directory for the index file.
  2. Run the Physics Methods Reuse appwith the methods you created.
