In Windows Explorer, navigate to the file or files you want to delete and select them.
Press Shift + Delete.
Important:
Pressing Shift + Delete permanently deletes some files without providing the option to unlink the file. Such is the case with a single file such as a drawing or PDF file, which is without any primary relationship. To
only unlink the file and leave the previous and current iterations of
the file on the 3DEXPERIENCE server, right-click the file and
click Delete.
Select the appropriate option:
If the system displays a dialog box with only Yes and No deletion options, click Yes.
This limited dialog box only displays when the selected file has no relationship to other files.
If the system displays either the Confirm File Delete or Confirm Multiple File Delete dialog box with multiple options:
Ensure that Permanently delete the files and their corresponding 3DEXPERIENCE objects is selected.
Under File Name expand all trees to make all file names visible.
Note:
The Result column describes the references.
In the Accept column, select the files to delete and clear the check boxes for files to remain in their folders.
Click Delete.
When prompted to verify that you want to permanently delete the file(s), click Yes.
The files are removed from the folder where you selected them and from the 3DEXPERIENCE server.
