Standard Time Measurement: Action Bar

Before you begin, review the basics of the user interface components specific to this app.

The primary area of the Standard Time Measurement section provides commands for managing time analyses.


Create Time Analysis
Create a Time Analysis that is attached to an operation.
Click Create Time Analysis and select a PPR Operation from the data tree. In the Time Analysis dialog box, provide a Title and Description as needed. Select type of Subsystem in the drop-down and click OK.

Attach Existing Time Analysis
Attach an existing time analysis to an operation.
Click Attach Existing Time Analysis and Select the PPR operation. If Time Analysis is already attached, a dialog box appears. Click Yes to replace the existing time analysis. A message appears: Select or search an object or Press ESC to exit.

In the Search field, enter the initial characters of the time analysis name, and then click Search. The Search results are listed. Select a time analysis.

Edit Time Analysis
Change specifications of a time analysis.
Click Edit Time Analysis and in the time analysis details, change accordingly.

Delete Time Analysis
Delete a time analysis.
Click Delete Time Analysis and select the time analysis or right-click the time analysis and select Delete.

To delete multiple time analyses, in a tree, press ctrl and select the time analyses, right-click, and then Delete.



Generate Time Analysis Report
Prints the selected Time Analysis.
Click Print Time Analysis and select the PPR operation, the Generate Time Analysis dialog box appears. Select the style sheet and the file for generating XML accordingly. The contents of the time analysis are retrieved and exported into the XML which is placed in a common location (...Local\DassaultSystemes\CATTemp)

Datacard Administration
Create, change, and Manage Datacards.
Clicking Datacard Administration, the dialog box appears. Edit accordingly, then click Close.

Update Value Added Category
Updates the value added categories on all the time analyses of a system when there are changes in the value added categories.
Click Update Value Added Category and create or remove a valued added category.


Attributes
This lists out the attributes of both Instance and References of a Time Analysis each below the other.
Click Attributes and select a Time Analysis. The Attributes dialog box appears to display all of the attributes.
