Connecting to a Mirror Directory

This task shows you how to set a mirror folder.


Before you begin:
  • DesignSync server hosting the mirror must be running.
  • Eclipse client must be running on UNIX.
  • You must have a populated work area in Eclipse.

  1. Select a workspace that has been populated with links to a mirror folder and select DesignSync | Set Mirror Directory.
    The Set Mirror Directory dialog box opens.
  2. Select the desired options and select OK.
    The output of the Set Mirror Directory operation is stored in the DSclipse log file and echoed to the console view.
  3. Run populate on the work area with the Populate with: Links to Mirror option selected and any other desired options. For more information on populate options, see Populate.
    The output of the Populate operation is stored in the DSclipse log file, echoed to the console view, and optionally stored in the populate log file. The decorations for the objects populated change to reflect the status of the objects.

The work area is populated with links to the objects on the mirror.
