Tree, Work Area and Properties Description

By default, Systems Traceability Dashboarding provides commands for navigating models and documents, and for displaying and managing traceability.

User Interface

Hover over parts of the screen to see the name for that section. Click any blue-bordered area for more information.


	Tree Displays elements from the database, listed by category in folders. See Tree.
	Navigation Bar Displays commands to navigate in the tree and in the work area. See Navigation Bar.
	Work Area Displays the content of the element that is selected in the tree. See Work Area.
	Properties Area Displays detailed information for an element that is selected in the work area. See Properties Area.

Work Area

The work area displays:

The structure or content of the element that is selected in the tree
Contextual commands for specific objects. See Context Toolbars

The following commands are available in a 2D graph, whatever object is displayed:


Zoom in Displays the child and content of the zoomed-in document. To zoom in, select an element and then move the scroll wheel forward.
Zoom out Moves up to the parent of the zoomed-out document. To zoom out, select an element and then move the scroll wheel backward.
Selection Displays the properties and additional commands for the selected document in the properties area. Displays the content of the description element in a pane.
