Edit Mode

When the Edit mode is active, the following commands are available:

	Check Scope and Select Revisions Verifies the referenced documents (availability, new name). This command also displays the existing revisions of your elements (if any), in the work area.. To replace the current revision with an older one (gray color) or with the latest (yellow color), click the revision number.
	Drop Background Image Drag an image (or a graphical model) from the tree and drop it onto this command to display it in the background. Then, click this command to manage the background: you can zoom in, zoom out, or delete it. If needed, you can move the model. You cannot move the background.
	Undo Disables the previous action.
	Parameters If an element is selected, displays its properties. See Defining Root Elements Parameters
	Show Suggested Neighbors If an element is selected, displays the root elements that are linked with it, and proposes traceability channels. Click a proposed element to insert it in the scope. See Creating and Editing a Scope.
	Delete Deletes the selected element is selected.

Traceability Mode: Coverage View

Click Traceability to display the traceability Overview. Then click a percentage label to enter the traceability Coverage view and access the following commands:

	Refresh Traceability Analysis Refreshes the percentage displayed in the 2D graph.
	Impact Display Displays recursively all the linked elements. See Analyzing Coverage in the Graphical View.
	Structure and Coverage Display Displays the immediate linked elements along with their structure. See Analyzing Coverage in the Graphical View.
	Link Creation Enables you to create links. See Creating Links from the Coverage View.
	Reroute With the edit mode, reroutes the selected links in a link set to apply the same targets and sources as in the previous version. See Managing Scope, Pattern and Link Set Revision.
	Unresolved links Displays or hides the unresolved links. See Analyzing Coverage in the Graphical View.
	Restore Complete View Unhides the hidden elements. See Analyzing Coverage in the Graphical View and Analyzing Coverage in a Matrix.
	Undo Disables the previous action.
	Redo Repeats the disabled action.

Traceability Mode: Table View

	Create a Table View Creates a customized view from an impact or coverage table layout. See Analyzing Traceability in the Table View.
	Download Excel File Downloads the active table view in an .xls format. To customize the .xls format, see Excel Export Preference.

Edit Mode

When the Edit mode is active, the following commands are available:

	Properties With the edit mode, when an element is selected, enables you to edit its properties. See Modify an Element.
	Create Depending on your selection, creates the appropriate element (pattern, named pattern, statement...). See Inserting a Pattern.
	Insert Pattern See Inserting a Pattern.
	Cut Cuts the selected element. See Inserting a Pattern.
	Copy Copies the selected element. See Inserting a Pattern.
	Paste Pastes the copied element. See Inserting a Pattern.
	Extract Pattern Creates a named pattern or pattern definition with the same content as the selected pattern. See Inserting a Pattern.
	Inline Pattern If a pattern reference is selected, replaces with the corresponding pattern definition. If a pattern definition is selected, replaces all corresponding pattern references.
	Switch Regexp to Literal Converts the selected regular expression to a literal expression, or the selected literal expression to a regular expression.
	Delete Parent Deletes the parent of the selected element.
	Delete Deletes the selected named pattern or pattern.
	Undo Disables the previous action.
	Redo Repeats the disabled action.

Debug Mode

When the Debug mode is active, drag a document to be tested onto the dedicated box. The following execution commands appear:

	Play Launch the simulation. The analyzed pattern elements are displayed in a stack list.
	Stop Stops the simulation. The tested document is kept, but the stack list is hidden.
	Pause Freezes the analysis. The results are visible for the last analyzed pattern element.
	Step Into Displays the result for the next element. This command enables you to perform a step-by-step analysis.
	Step Over Displays the result for the next sibling. This command skips the children of the current selection.
	Step Out Displays the result for the next parent sibling. This command skips the children and siblings of the current selection.
