Searching and Opening Objects from 3DEXPERIENCE

You can search and open EPCs, packages, symbols, or footprints from 3DEXPERIENCE in OrCAD.

Before you begin: Click 3DEXPERIENCE > Electronic Component Editor to open the Electronic Component Editor dialog box.

Saving to 3DEXPERIENCE
  1. From the Top Bar, click Open from 3DEXPERIENCE.
  2. Search for the required object in 3DSearch.

    You can search for EPCs, packages, symbols, or footprints.

  3. Select the required objects and click Open.

The selected objects are downloaded to the path specified in OrCAD preferences and also added to the structure. The revised structure is displayed in the Electronic Component Editor dialog box.
